After the head gasket failed at Mid-Ohio, we had 6 weeks to get the car functional again for the BeaveRun BMWCCA/PVGP races on 7/11-7/12. The race is at my home track, and I wanted to defend my win from last year, so I was pushing pretty hard to get the repairs done as fast as possible. The repair went very well, and the car appears to be fully functional and ready to go. Below are some pics of the repairs:
